Since its opening in October 2000, Lai Heung Park has a history of 23 years, the park covers an area of 230,000 square meters and takes about 1 hour to stroll through. The park, as its name suggests, has more than 1,000 ancient lychee trees, which is one of the largest groups of ancient lychees in the SAR.
