Dongshan Temple is located at the southern foot of Longtou Mountain in Dapeng.

It was first built in the 27th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1394 AD), rebuilt in 1854 (the fourth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty) and reconstructed in 2009.
