It's really good for a relaxing weekend with fewer people and beautiful views!

2024-10-14Radoslava at Guangzhou Liwan Lake Park

Located in Liwan District of Guangzhou City, Liwan Lake Park is a comprehensive park in China filled with the elegant and soft flavor of southern China.

Liwan Lake Park is mainly composed of four lakes, namely, Xiao Cui Lake, Yucui Lake, Ruyi Lake and Wuxiu Lake, which are connected by bridges and embankments to form a unique water landscape.

Scattered throughout the park are eight pavilions, eight bridges, four corridors, three halls, one xuan, one pavilion and other garden buildings, which are hidden in the blue waves and green trees, and are quite characteristic of Lingnan garden architecture.

Cantonese Opera is performed daily from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Lai Chi Wan Theater

There are nearly 300 litchi trees in the park, which were replanted in 1985. In addition, there are also the “Eight Scenes of Liwan Lake” and other special attractions, such as the Dancing Edge of Huaping, the Singing of Yung Yin, the Boating on Jade Lake, and the Rainbow Bridge of Lai Chi Kung, which are good places to visit in Liwan Lake.

In the park, there are Panxi Restaurant, Tang Liyuan Fine Cantonese Cuisine, and quite a lot of street food and drinks to choose from outside.

There are also nearby attractions such as Pantang Ancient Village, Yongqing Square, Liwan Museum, Chen Family Ancestral Hall and Xiguan Big House.

Come to Guangzhou less than Xiguan is equal to white, have time to walk here, looking out over the lake, resting and taking a break, the ancient trees to cool off, I believe you will be healed by the smoldering human flavor in this park.
