Xixi Ancient Village was built in the second year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty, with a history of 534 years.
The village was built on the gentle slope of the natural mountainous terrain, with a reasonable layout of alleys and complete security defenses.
The village is composed of walls, houses, alleys, the Yin Ancestral Hall, bookstores, houses, ancient wells, ponds and banyans, etc. It is a distinctive village where clans live together.
It's not a big place, just walk around the lake and you're almost done 🚶♂️
We arrived there at 4:00 pm, walking around eating and strolling almost two hours to see the lights at the beginning of the night.
The night view is more beautiful, we recommend to see the night view before leaving.
The ancient style lovers can really wear Hanfu to take photos! It's a great place to take pictures.
The food and drinks are average and a bit expensive.
I've been there before on Mid-Autumn, and it was crowded.
