“World's Tallest Colorful Glazed Pagoda - Feihong Pagoda of Guangsheng Temple
The Feihong Pagoda was built in the Eastern Han Dynasty, expanded in the Tang Dynasty, then destroyed by the earthquake in 1303, and then rebuilt on a large scale in the Ming Dynasty, which has been preserved to this day. It is the most complete colorful glazed tower in China.
The body of the tower is made of green bricks, and the exterior is inlaid with colorful glaze, which is so colorful and gorgeous that it is really ingenious! The only way to appreciate its subtlety is to see it with your own eyes. Ancient craftsmen's skills, breathtaking!
Under the sunlight, the tower reflects colorful light, just like a rainbow, so it is named “Flying Rainbow Pagoda”.
