This is Mingxi Village, a remote ancient village located in the Pingnan Mountain area of Ningde, Fujian Province. Embraced by mountains, the village is quiet and remote, with ancient rammed earth yellow walls and black and gray tile houses scattered on the hillside, as if telling the vicissitudes of history. Under the sunlight, the dappled light and shadow sprinkled on the yellow mud wall, looks more and more simple and heavy.

Walking in the village, those ancient buildings carved by the years, they are either high or low, large or small, or broken walls, or wooden doors are hidden, but all carry a deep cultural heritage and rich nostalgia. Every stone, every wall, every house has its own unique story, waiting for us to savor.

These buildings, sculpted over the years, are witnesses to the historical changes and cultural heritage of this land. However, these ancient villages are gradually disappearing from people's sight. They used to be the center of villagers' lives, but now only silence and memories remain.
