This is an ancient village located in the northwest of Qimen County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, Li Kou Town, an ancient village - Penglong Village, the original name is “Ping Rang”, meaning flat fields in the mountains. There are six ancestral halls preserved in Penglong Village, with different sizes, scales and forms. Among them, the Guangqing Hall, which was built in the middle of the Yuan Dynasty and has a history of more than six hundred years, is the largest, and is backed by the right point of the Lailong Mountain Range, so it is known as the Fengshui Ancestral Hall by the villagers. The stone drums, lintels and carvings of this typical Huizhou-style architecture are all very exquisite. The beams and pillars are all made of large, high-quality wood, and its structure is reasonable, the craftsmanship is superb, and the grandeur is so impressive that it really admires the ancient craftsmen's high skills.
This Wang Clan Ancestral Hall is still well preserved through the vicissitudes of life, showing the world the former glory of the Wang Clan.
