This is the former Fenxi Village in Pingnan County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, an ancient village hidden in the emerald green mountains and forests, like a paradise.
Walking into the village, the ancient houses are staggered, rammed earth and yellow mud walls, black and gray tile roof, each brick and tile are precipitated with the traces of the years, each house seems to tell a story of the long ago.
The wildflowers in the corners of the walls are in full bloom, embellishing this peaceful land. The sunlight through the clouds shed dappled light and shadow, for the whole village put on a layer of golden coat.
Cooking smoke rises, as if you can smell the aroma of food from the ancient kitchen. The winding paths, lined with lush greenery and dotted with red lanterns, add a touch of festive color to the serenity.
